SW Series
Entec Subwoofer Service
Repair, Refurbishment, and Overhaul of Entec SW and LF Series Subwoofers.
Introduced back in the 80’s, the Entec SW series has seen
several revisions and improvements. These range from
the drivers themselves to replacement of the original circuit
board with an updated version like that found in later LF
series models. As cutting-edge as these now rare
subwoofers were, age is still their enemy and as such they
likely need some attention.
Whether it’s a simple repair or a full overhaul, Entec

Both LF and SW series employed the Generation 1 power modules.
Later LF series units and some factory repaired SW series
incorporated the Generation 2 power modules. What do you have?

Manufactured from the 80’s through the mid 90s, your Entec LF
series subwoofer is upwards of twenty…even thirty plus years old
and as such likely needs, at minimum, some refreshing and
updating if not outright repair. Even on Generation 2 equipped
versions, if the servo LED still turns “green” upon power-up, the
unit’s performance has likely degraded due to aging capacitors and
